TechHub & Google Announce Global Partnership #GoGlobal

Google for Entrepreneurs has partnered with the global community for tech entrepreneurs, TechHub, to help hundreds of tech companies scale up their businesses.

Headquartered in London, TechHub works with over 700 companies around the world. With this partnership, its members, from over 60 countries, will have access to a global startup community in seven tech cities including Bangalore, Bucharest, London, Madrid, Riga, Swansea and Warsaw. However, for the first time, the partnership will benefit startups from India, who will have access to programmes and assistance from Google, including Google mentors, the Google for Entrepreneurs international demo days, GFE Exchange, and Google Cloud Platform credits.

Elizabeth Varley, TechHub’s global co-founder and CEO, said, “We are excited to bring this partnership to India, to increase TechHub’s support to Indian startups. In Bangalore we see a huge variety of startups creating innovative products, and we want to help them succeed both in India and all around the world. TechHub and Google for Entrepreneurs is a strong partnership that will empower Indian entrepreneurs to go global from the very beginning.”

TechHub connects tech startups to people like investors, lawyers, and politicians, in the startup ecosystem around the world.  TechHub provides access to product testing labs, networking events, the flagship TechHubTuesday Demo Nights, and Startup Funeral, advice sessions on recruitment, and investment options, to help startup starting up or scaling up into a successful tech business.

David Grunwald, Google for Entrepreneurs’ Head of EMEA Partnerships, said “We are excited to expand our work with TechHub beyond Google for Entrepreneurs’s Campus network, where we have collaborated successfully over a number of years. TechHub’s ‘community first’ values and their focus on supporting founders and startups with education and programs align perfectly with the goals of Google for Entrepreneurs.”

Google for Entrepreneurs provides financial support and the best of Google’s resources to dozens of coworking spaces and community programs across 125 countries.
