Snapdeal has launched an online fashion trends forecasting service, Snaptrends, for its sellers.
With Snaptrends, Snapdeal aims to act as a definitive guidebook for fashion and design product development exclusively for Snapdeal seller partners. This will enable small and medium sized manufacturers and businesses in getting access to fashion intelligence to assist them to produce commercially viable apparel collection.
It is to be noted that Snapdeal has a seller base of 200,000 sellers while delivering to 5000+ destinations in India.
In a first of its kind initiative in the country, Snapdeal aims to keep a watch on trending, tracking and forecasting fashion service, covering both western and ethnic wear.
Vishal Chadha, Senior Vice President, Market Development at Snapdeal said, “With this trends forecasting service, we will enable Indian fashion manufacturers of all sizes to keep abreast of latest industry insights, giving them a chance to tap the fast growing market”
To make it simpler for the sellers and partners, Snapdeal will break down each step by providing a ready reference that includes trend inspirations, key fabrics, colour direction, original prints which will finally culminate into an exclusive collection.
