MyWish Marketplaces, which operates retail loans marketplace Deal4Loans, has raised $15 Mn (about INR 100 Cr) from Franklin Templeton International Services India.
International Business Advisors acted as MyWish Marketplace’s advisor for the deal.
Founded in 2009 by Rishi Mehra, Deal4Loans operates financial marketplace. It aggregates, markets and facilitates the sale of loan products and credit offerings from banks and financial institutions. It offers comparison of retail loans across categories like home loan, personal loan, car loan, credit cards, loan against property and education loan.
The platform claims to have 50 lending partners and 7 Mn registered customers. The startup will use the funds to develop intellectual property, build an investment platform and expand the small business loans category.
Puru Vashishtha, board director of Mywish Marketplaces, said, “”Through our technology, we will continue to help our partner banks in the new paradigm of digitization of the banking landscape. We also look forward to working with Franklin Templeton on developing a new technology platform for wealth management and investment product-related services.”
Deals4You competes with the likes of BankBazaar, which raised $60 Mn last year from Amazon, with Fidelity Growth Partners and Mousse Partners, participating in the round.
