With this, founders of Mumbai-based MassBlurb, Sanket Shah and Pankit Chheda will be taking up key roles at Mobikon. While Sanket will be managing the key accounts and partnerships across the company, Pankit will work closely with Mobikon’s CTO for new product initiatives. MassBlurb’s team will also join Mobikon as a result of this acquisition.
MassBlurb automates everything a restaurant needs in the social space. It helps restaurants create their brand presence and increase their overall business with innovative technology. MassBlurb is currently working with 200+ premium restaurant brands across India. It has its headquarters in Mumbai and is present in 6 other cities across India.
On the other hand, Mobikon was founded by Samir Khadepaun and Salil Khamkar. It has expertise in customer engagement which includes feedback, reservation management, loyalty, CRM and ordering.

The acquisition will help Mobikon offer customer engagement solutions on social networking platforms, allowing restaurants to generate social leads, converting likes and followers to business, website automation, cloud telephony integrated with CRM, and automation in social media management.
Mobikon will also scale this product outside of India, which in turn will increase revenues per restaurant. This will enable Mobikon to add 200 restaurant brands in India and increase the total reach to 500+ restaurant brands and over 1200+ outlets in India and 2800+ outlets internationally.
Last year, Mobikon grew 250% and projects 12% growth month on month this year. It is present in Singapore, Phillipines, Manila, Dubai, Macau, Kuala Lumpur & India. Mobikon’s platform currently powers over 100,000 reviews every month, over 170,000 new diners are added month on month and the platform engages over 1,000,000 diners every month. Some of the leading customers include Radisson Hotel, JP Palace, Copper Chimney, Pind Baluchi, and Pizza Express in India and Shankey’s Pizza, Swensens, City of Dreams, Secret Recipe, Red Crab Group, Minor Group and Select Group internationally.
