With 10 Mn Bookings Complete, Global Wellness SaaS Provider Startup, ManageMySpa, Raises $6 Mn From Accel

The Seattle and Hyderabad-based startup ManageMySpa, a global wellness SaaS provider has raised about $6 mn (around INR 38.4 Cr.) in its Series A round of funding led by Accel Partners.

The funds will be used by company to accelerate its sales and marketing growth globally as well as in expansion of it mobile product offering.

Founded in 2010 by Sudheer Koneru and Dheeraj Koneru, ManageMySpa (earlier Soham Online Solutions) is an easy to use web-based software solution. It’s SaaS solution is used by spas, salons and medical spas to easily manage and grow their business.

Built by a team experienced in enterprise software, the ManageMySpa solution is designed to manage all operational aspects of the spa and salon business, including online booking, appointment management, POS, CRM, staff management, inventory controls, built in marketing, analytics and more.

On this development, Sudheer Koneru, CEO and Founder of ManageMySpa said, “We’re confident in our ability to execute quickly and scale our growth. The platform supports companies of all sizes from single outlet spas and salons to multi-location chains with more than 300 outlets.

Currently, the startup’s solution is used by more than 2,000 spas and salons in India and over 5,000 globally. The company has 7 offices globally, in the cities of Seattle, Sydney, Jakarta, Kuala Lampur, Manila, Hyderabad and Dubai.

One of its client, Director at Enrich Salons, Vikram Bhatt says, “ManageMySpa was pivotal in our ability to rapidly expand from 10 to 55 outlets in less than 2 years. Today, our chain performs more than 70,000 appointments every month. ManageMySpa has been key in our ability to deliver on high quality and consistent service, improve customer loyalty and grow our sales. Some of ManageMySpa’s global clients include Massage Green and La Vida in the US, ElemisSpas in the UK, Martha Tillar in Indonesia, Hair Free and Results Laser Clinic in Australia, Tips & Toes and Hello Kitty. While few clients in India are Kaya Skin, Enrich Salons, O2 Spas and Blush Clinics.
