Kraftly To Connect Its Sellers With Buyers On Instagram; Launches InstaKonnect

Delhi-based mobile O2O marketplace Kraftly has launched ‘InstaKonnect’, a feature for its sellers to connect directly with its buyers, on Instagram.

Instagram is an online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing, and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, and share them publicly or privately on the app. It also connects its users to other social networking platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Flickr.

According to Kraftly, a recent study shows that young audience, in the age group of 18-24 is the most active with more purchasing and spending power on Instagram. Hence, Kraftly has chosen Instagram as a module to connect with its potential buyers. The marketplace tends to offer those products and brands that these youngsters follow actively on Instagram directly from the Kraftly website/app. The buyers can then comment with their email/phone number to get a direct checkout link to purchase that product. InstaKonnect also offers a complete logistics solution and a guarantee for the purchase.

Kraftly is owned by Big Foot Retail Solutions, which also owns SaaS-based ecommerce enablement product KartRocket. In August 2015, KartRocket launched Kraftly as an O2O buy & sell marketplace that follows an open marketplace model. Presently, Kraftly has 15,000 shops, and adds over 17,000 listings per day. Its vision is to create ‘flea-commerce’ by bringing on-board the long tail of individual and small sellers online, and allowing them to fairly participate in ecommerce.
