Chandigarh-based on-demand auto rickshaw aggregator, Jugnoo, has forayed into B2B logistics segment with the launch of Dodo Deliveries. Dodo Deliveries is an omni-channel, on-demand, hyperlocal logistics service, enabling vendors to deliver products to their customers.
Samar Singla, co-founder and CEO, Jugnoo said, “Both the ventures viz. ‘Fatafat’ and ‘Dodo Deliveries’, under the aegis of Jugnoo, are interrelated and complement each other. Additionally, we have the fleet of vehicles and are also aware of the demand for delivery services. There is an urgent need for end to end logistics solutions in the market and Dodo aims to be the next piece of the jigsaw in the hyper-local marketplace.”
Dodo is integrated with Jugnoo, which gives the drivers an additional source of income by taking delivery requests when they are not taking any ride. Apart from utilising existing auto rickshaw fleet, Dodo has also aggregated other means of deliveries such as two-wheelers and commercial vehicles.

For Dodo there is no stipulated size for minimum order and delivery charges, start from as low as INR 30 per delivery.
Dodo is facilitating 200 deliveries per day and aims at delivering more than 500 orders per day in the next one month. Currently operational in Chandigarh, the services will be implemented in Indore, Gurgaon and Noida in two weeks’ time. Moreover, Jugnoo intends to launch ‘Dodo’ in more than 15 cities in the next 2 months.
Prior to this in April 2016, Jugnoo raised a total of $10 Mn in its second round of Series B funding led by mobile wallet and mcommerce company Paytm. It has a leading auto-rickshaw aggregators with 35,000 people transacting per day.Jugnoo has over 12,000 autos empanelled under the brand at present. It has its presence in 35 cities.
