Television actor Ashish Kapoor has launched an online platform for booking venues called Addabooking.
Founded by Kapoor and Sachin Garg, Addabooking provides users to book a venue on the basis of various factors such as amenities, services, price, location, availability, ratings, etc. The platform also facilitates price comparison for the selected venues which makes the selection process even easier.
Ashish Kapoor, founder of addabooking said, “With the launch of Addabooking, our aim is to reduce the long cycle of searching venues and services. We have also partnered with several service providers and our vision is to make the booking process of venues and services easy and rewarding for our customers. Our strategy is to focus on premium venues and services including niche services like Celebrity Hosting. Also, we would be targeting corporate segment for organising event/conferences.”
Delhi-based Addabooking helps people browse, compare, select and book a venue, for any occasion or event. It claims to be a one-stop-shop for venue and party bookings, table reservations, events and allied services.
According to a company statement, it has partnered with 600 banquets and 250 restaurants including Hotel Taj, Le Meredian, Vivanta, Flyp@MTV, to name a few.
A customer can also book allied services including decorators, caterers, event planners, singers, celebrities, photographers, etc.
Other startup in this segment include DineOut, Zomato Book, etc.
