Geetha Ramamurthy co-founded Career Confidence; its mission is to be the best trainer of English communication and career development skills to college students and workforces of local businesses and global companies. Prior to launching Career Confidence, Ms. Ramamurthy was the Director of Business Development at English Helper. She spearheaded a new initiative, which provided both English language training and vocational training through partnerships in Karnataka and she successfully led several NGO partnerships pan India. Prior to joining English Helper, she served as Sr. Director of Business Development at Venus Capital, an investment advisory firm.
Ms. Ramamurthy was the founding Executive Director of the Boston chapter of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) and a charter member of TiE and developed it to be the second largest and most active chapter. She is the creator of TYE (TiE Young Entrepreneurs), an education program for youth designed to teach high school students how to be entrepreneurs and business leaders; she currently serves as the Chairperson of the TYE Global Program and is the Charter Member of TiE.
Ms. Ramamurthy received a B.S. in Medical Technology from Northeastern University, Boston, USA. She is advisor to several start-up companies. Ms. Ramamurthy serves on the Dean’s advisory council, North Eastern University, Boston and is the Member, Communication Skills Advisory Board, VIT University, Jaipur, India.
