Techstars Startup Weekend
Techstars Startup Weekend is a global grassroots movement of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. Current event is a general Techstars Startup Weekend Edition where participants are required to pitch their raw idea which could be in any vertical/theme like Technology, Education, Health, Disability, Environment, etc. and work on building a Minimum Viable Product MVP thus propelling them to take their idea to the next stage.
This year’s organizing committee includes Subramaniam TG, Program Manager at THE GAIN, Vijetha Shastry, Lead – Open Innovation at NASSCOM, among other members. Join the Techstars Startup Weekend to turn your idea into a real-life product in 54 hours under the wings of our esteemed mentors. Beginning with Friday night pitches, anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams are organically formed around the top ideas as determined by popular vote and then it’s a 54-hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation.
The weekends culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback. The weekend is centred around action, innovation, and education. Whether you are looking for feedback on an idea, a co-founder, specific skill sets, or a team to help you execute, Startup Weekends are the perfect environment to test your idea and take the initial steps towards launching your own startup. Whether entrepreneurs establish a startup, find a co-founder or learn a skill far outside their usual 9-to-5, everyone is guaranteed to leave the event better prepared to navigate the chaotic but exciting world of startups.
