With climate change being a major issue that is going to affect every citizen of the world, innovations in the clean technology sector are trying hard to solve a piece of the big puzzle.
To encourage and celebrate every single innovation in the clean technology space, we at Headstart Ahmedabad, for our monthly flagship event – Startup Saturday are choosing Innovations and Opportunities in the CleanTechnology. We have Chintan Soni from Ecolibrium Energy, Deep Pandya from Re-Materials and Karan Dangayach from Shashwat Cleantech who’ll be talking to us, taking us through their journey and experiences as an innovator and entrepreneur in the Clean Technology space.
Mr. Chintan Soni, CEO, Ecolibrium Energy
With over 16 years of experience in the professional world within various industries ranging from Shlumberger to Telecom to Finance and now over to CleanTech, Chintan has inside experience from an employee’s perspective as well as from a CEO’s perspective. He has been working on Ecolibrium Energy since the last 6 years, helping companies understand their energy spends and optimize them.
Mr. Deep Pandya, Manufacturing Engineer, ReMaterials
An ambitious manager with engineering background and over seven years of hugely diverse work-experience working with multi-national firm (L&T), an NGO and British Royal Army, Deep has worked with and in a diverse areas within manufacturing centres. He has been working with Re-Materials, which has been incubated at CIIE, the incubator from IIM-Ahmedabad and is committed to solving problem of low quality roofing.
Mr. Karan Dangayach, Managing Director at Shashwat Cleantech
Karan is a co-founder and managing director in Shashwat Cleantech Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as Shashwat Green Fuels & Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) since September 2009. Shashwat was formed with a view to commercialising clean technology solutions which are cost-effective for India and emerging markets such as Africa and South-east Asia. Shashwat is a leading player in solar energy projects and also for energy efficient lighting systems in Western India. Karan has also worked in the FMCG and Social Enterprise sectors, with managerial roles in corporate strategy and marketing. Previous employers include Godrej Consumer Products, Yuva Unstoppable and Grey Global Group.
