We’ll see the two perspectives, that of the entrepreneur and that of the investors; and some of the key takeaways will be: navigating the investment world, determining appropriate capital sources, the inside story of venture capital and a special talk about non dilutive funding such as crowd-funding.
1) The game of funding:
An inevitable challenge that an entrepreneur has to face in his startup journey is to secure funding for the new venture. A startup needs to look at any and all sources of capital that will allow them to create value inflection points, reduce risks and position themselves for additional investment.
Describe range of funding sourcing including angels, seed, venture capital etc.
The conditions under which money is typically invested.
How and when to raise money and from whom.
Using non dilutive funding such as crowd-funding.
2) Showcase your startup/ideas:
You can showcase your startups or startup ideas using presentations etc. for spreading the word and soliciting feedback from you peer entrepreneurs and get valuable suggestions.
