EmergE 2016 – Entrepreneurship Summit of IIM Shillong

Emerge, the Entrepreneurship summit of IIM Shillong, organized yearly by i-Cube, E cell of IIM Shillong, is one of the most premier events of the region. The event aims at inculcating the spirit of entrepreneurship among the student fraternity of the region and also to encourage the budding entrepreneurs to showcase their talent to the world.

Emerge, in the recent years hosted major dignitaries from the corporate world, who shared their success stories and valuable experiences. We at i-Cube also understand the importance of promoting the rich culture and innovation abilities of the North East region and have hosted various events like North East Diaries and Vasundhra Awards to promote the local talent.In terms of stature, Emerge only considers the horizon as the ceiling. We have achieved amazing heights every year and will continue to do so in the coming editions of the event. In 2015, Emerge was host to a participation of teams from every nook and crook of the country and to major corporate houses like Google & Samsung. In 2016, we will be organizing a plethora of events like Case study competition, B Plan competition and multiple competitions focused on encouraging entrepreneurship. We will also be a host to workshops across various domains to inculcate the right skills required for becoming a successful Entrepreneur.
