Life after college can be a tortuous ride. Zeroing in on a career with proper growth prospects and which aligns with your skill sets is a tough decision to make. Normally college students take myopic decisions without considerable thoughts and end up with a career that doesn’t suit their personality at all.

College students pass on a career in sales without giving it due thought. This is perhaps because of the misplaced stigma associated with a sales job. Some of the most popular misconceptions include the perception that sales professionals are shrewd people who dupe customers to make a living, sales is very demanding as a career, pay is low compared to other jobs etc. Such misconceptions are really what they are misconceptions.
