Founded in 2010, Lema Labs operates in Edtech offering an ecosystem focused on skill development in advanced technologies such as robotics and computer vision. The company was incubated in IIT Madras and aims to empower students by encouraging a culture of innovation and problem-solving rather than traditional job security. Lema Labs has launched the Kaizen Robotics Program, a comprehensive training initiative that started in 2011-2012, which has reached over 1000 students across multiple colleges in Chennai. The programme includes hands-on experience in building various types of robots and culminates in a competition to evaluate students grasp of the course concepts.
