Ziffi.com Raises INR 15 Cr from Orios Venture Partners In Series A

Ziffi.com, earlier know as DocSuggest has raised INR 15 Cr in Series A round of funding led by Orios Venture Partners, a INR 300 Cr. fund launched by serial entrepreneur Rehan Yar Khan. The startup plans to deploy the raised funds for expanding in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore & Hyderabad.

It further plans to utilize the funds raised for expanding its network, strengthen technology interface and design, and invest in marketing and brand building.

Based out in Mumbai, Ziffi was founded in 2010 by IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur alumni Shantanu Jha, Pushkar Soni and Anshuman Pandey. Initially it was focusing on doctor and clinic appointments and has recently forayed into salons and spas to cover the gamut of wellness services.

As per the company, it covers over 1,000 salons, 15,000 doctors and 5,000 diagnostic centers, and has till date booked over 250,000 appointments. It has a team of 40 employees across the four cities where it operates.

“We estimate that there are currently 3 million people at the technology adoption cycle in India ready to use such a service and by 2020 this number will swell close to 100 million people. We are impressed by the company’s vision and the incredible work they have done so far and we are delighted to back them in their next phase of growth,” said Rehan Yar Khan, Managing Partner of Orios Venture Partners.

Rehan has earlier made seed investment in Ziffi; Indiagames founder Vishal Gondal and Google India head Rajan Anandan are also investors in it.
