Yahoo acquires mobile marketing startup – Sparq

Seattle-based startup launched in 2010, Sparq has announced that it has been acquired by Yahoo, though the financial terms has been left undisclosed but as per the post on the Sparq’s website the startup will be terminating its current service.

Prior acquisition – Sparq has raised a total of $1.7 Mn in funding.

SPARQ helps to turn mobile users into customers by making it easier to buy, share, and consume products, services and content wherever the user is and whichever device, app he is using.

Earlier this month – Yahoo had acquired Intelligent Homescreen Startup – Aviate.
