Uniqus Bags $20 Mn To Offer AI-Based Consulting Solutions

Enterprise tech startup Uniqus Consultech has raised $20 Mn (around INR 170 Cr) in its Series C funding round led by existing investor Nexus Venture Partners.

The round also saw participation from Uniqus’ early backer Sorin Investments.

The Mumbai-based company will deploy the freshly raised funds in expanding its global footprint and launch new services. Additionally, Uniqus is also planning to make R&D investments in AI-driven solutions to reduce reporting and risk management challenges for its clients.

“Our latest round of funding positions us to expand our capabilities and geographical presence as we tap into this market. The funding will also help us to build Uniqus AI, leveraging our deep domain skills and new GenAI models to transform how consulting services are delivered,” said Uniqus founder and chief executive officer Jamil Khatri.

Founded by Khatri and Sandip Khetan in 2022, Uniqus offers consulting services for segments including accounting & reporting, finance operations, governance, risk, ESG, and technology.

Besides, its product portfolio includes GenAI-powered industry analysis platform UniQuest, financial control platform Risk UniVerse, data management financial reporting solution Reporting UniVerse and ESG metrics platform ESG UniVerse.

The company claims to be serving more than 250 enterprises across the world.

The development comes at a time when several enterprise tech companies are leveraging AI to facilitate its clients with advanced solutions. Not just this, investors are also betting on this approach.

For instance, enterprise tech startup Gallabox recently bagged $3.5 Mn in an extension of its seed round to build agentic AI solutions.

Talking about bigger cheques, enterprise AI startup Atomicwork recently raised $ 25 Mn to capitalise on its strategy to transform IT service management with its agentic AI platform.

Around the same time, IT services company Genpact launched an accelerator programme “Genpact AI Gigafactory” to help enterprises in rapidly scaling AI solutions from pilot to full-scale production.
