Synthio Labs Bags $5 Mn To Provide Voice AI To Life Sciences Industry

Life sciences-focussed AI startup Synthio Labs has raised $5 Mn (around INR 44.2 Cr) in its seed funding round led by Elevation Capital. 

The funding round also saw participation from Peak XV Partners, Y Combinator, and a bunch of strategic angel investors from the global healthcare and AI ecosystem.

Founded in 2024 by Supreet Deshpande, Sahitya Sridhar and Rajashekar Vasantha, Synthio Labs is a clinical-grade voice AI startup that offers conversational platforms for the life sciences industry to enable smooth engagement between organisations, clinicians and patients.

Its AI operating system has three flagship platforms – Jarvis, a clinical-grade voice AI copilot for field teams; Ather, a multimodal AI engine for omnichannel engagement with physicians and patients; and Simulation Studio, an advanced insight platform that generates high-fidelity digital twins of clinicians and patients for research and strategy.

The startup plans to use the fresh funds to expand its engineering and product teams, scale enterprise deployments across the US and Europe, and deepen its partnerships with leading life sciences clients, it said in a statement.

Its offerings help life-sciences teams automate compliance conversations and deliver human-grade experiences to clinicians and patients.

The startup claims that Synthio’s voice AI reached more than 5,000 eczema patients in 48 hours as part of one of its projects. 

The funding comes at a time when AI is rapidly transforming the healthcare sector by enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and personalisation across the entire patient journey. From early disease detection through advanced imaging and predictive analytics to AI-assisted diagnostics, the technology is strengthening clinical outcomes. 

It is also streamlining hospital operations, optimising workflows, and improving resource allocation. 

Additionally, AI-powered tools are enabling personalised treatment plans, accelerating drug discovery, and expanding access to quality care through virtual assistants and remote monitoring. 

As a result, investors are betting on AI startups in the next sector to unlock the next big opportunity. Earlier this year, AI-driven healthcare platform Reveal Healthtech that provides specialised engineering, clinical model, and strategy support to healthcare organisations raised $7.2 Mn (around INR 63 Cr) in Series A. 

Another, AI-based healthtech startup August AI raised $3 Mn (INR 26.6 Cr) in its seed funding round from Accel and Claypond Capital in October.

As per Inc42 data, the healthtech sector secured fourth place in top funding deals in H1 2025.hThe startups in the sector bagged $377 Mn funding during the first half of the year across 29 deals.
