Inc42 Daily Brief
Stay Ahead With Daily News & Analysis on India’s Tech & Startup Economy
We at Inc42 Magazine have teamed up with TLabs, India’s leading startup accelerator, and Nasscom 10,000 startups to announce India’s first highly curated event for early stage startups, #StartupDash with the mission of acting as a catalyst for startups in MVP stage.
While there are a number of events that focus on sharing general startup “gyaan” or startups that already have good visibility and traction, there is a big need for a support system for early stage startups that works not only during the event but also post event. We have worked with early stage startups long enough to understand what issues they face and what tangible value they seek from startup events, partners and accelerators.
Want to jump to the applications or know more about the mentors? Head to the event website directly!
#StartupDash has been designed on the lean startup principle and provides the complete package — Launchpad, Team Building, PitchUp and Mentorship Opportunities for startups in the 3 major startup hubs in India — Delhi, Pune and Bangalore. Moreover, top 3 teams from each event will get opportunity to attend TLabs’ unique pre acceleration program for one month to build their startups!

What is Lean Startup?
It’s no secret that most startup ideas could use a bit of polish. So many products fail because they aren’t solving a problem that customers care enough about or they didn’t receive the right feedback or guidance from those who’ve been there before. That right there is the difference between helping people with a useful product and a redundant flop.
For those of you not familiar with the lean startup principle, the term was coined by Eric Ries, an author and entrepreneur in Silicon Valley. In simple terms, his idea promotes the creation of rapid prototypes that test market assumptions and then using customer feedback to evolve quickly.
So How’s This is Going To Work?
#StartupDash, as the name suggests, is a highly disruptive event format, where startups in MVP Stage pitch to a curated audience of individuals which will include entrepreneurs, investors, designers, developers, product managers among others.
