Startup Events This Week: Pulse42 In Mumbai, The Morning Pitch And More

Last week, Kabeela Life Ventures (The Global Innovation Tribe) organised the India Innovation Day to lay emphasis on global connectivity, showcasing corporate and startup-led innovation.

The India Innovation Day is a marquee event for startups as well as the enabler ecosystem and hosts a mix of global and Indian delegates. The delegates come from the various fields of corporate innovation, the venture capital ecosystem and technology startups.

Moreover, India Innovation Day also explored how venture capital can become a new investor asset class and how individuals can also back tech ventures. Business and management consulting firm BDO was the advisory partner of this year’s event. The India Innovation Day was supported by Invest India, Startup India and the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI).

Pulse42 By Inc42

Inc42 is hosting another edition of its signature tech party Pulse42 in Mumbai. This relaxing evening will connect the investor community and startups in an informal setting over great food and cocktails. Pulse42 is a no agenda event, which is all about getting conversations going among stakeholders. This year’s event will host Loginext CTO and cofounder Manisha Raisinghani, TestBook Cofounder and CEO Ashutosh Kumar, Fynd cofounder Harsh Shah, Avana Capital’s Anjali Bansal and more.

The event is supported by annual partners — Times Internet, AWS, Paytm, WebEngage and NetApp Excellerator. Pulse42 will be held on February 27, 2020, at Estella in Juhu, Mumbai. Inc42 launched the Pulse42 2020 season with a tech startup party in India’s startup capital, Bengaluru.

Last year, we threw open the doors to Pulse42 to accommodate the ever-growing startup community, along with the leading names in the investor ecosystem. The response has been great in terms of applications for every edition, and so far Inc42 has hosted 11 editions of Pulse42, engaging over 1000 founders, investors and ecosystem enablers.

Startup Stage, BioAsia 2020

The government of Telangana, in partnership with the government of India, is organising BioAsia 2020 at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). BioAsia will be held from February 17 to 19, 2020.

The theme for BioAsia 2020 edition is “Today for Tomorrow” and it focusses on adapting business models to cater to the challenges that will come in the future. The event is expected to be attended by more than 1,800 business leaders from 55 countries. This edition will be featuring promising startups working on pharma, biotech, life sciences, healthtech and medtech sectors.

Morning Pitch India

Deloitte is hosting the next edition of Morning Pitch in Bengaluru on February 26, 2020. This platform supports startups to form business alliances, partnerships and network with some of the biggest players in the India business world. The event is attended by large corporations, corporate venture capital, and venture capital firms.

Previous editions of the Morning Pitch around the world have seen hundreds of business alliances and tens of M&A and IPOs. With Morning Pitch, Deloitte wants to mobilise Indian and international corporations to participate in the innovation economy centred around startups, along with investors.
