Last week, Start-up Punjab and YES Bank have successfully hosted ‘Scaling Up Start-up Businesses’ event in Chandigarh on August 26. This event was aimed at creating a platform for upcoming entrepreneurs to engage with key ecosystem players, professional advisers, and government stakeholders.
Also, the BIGShift Indore applications are now open. BIGShift is an Inc42 initiative in association with DigitalOcean, to enable, engage and empower India’s Tier 2 startups. The idea is to celebrate, discover, connect the local startup ecosystem in India’s emerging Tier 2 startup hubs while empowering them with much-needed support.
As we step into a new week, here’s a list of new and upcoming events:
BIGShift, Indore
As part of the fourth leg of the latest edition of BIGShift, Inc42 will bring all the key local ecosystem stakeholders together over the course of an evening to celebrate innovation in the budding startup hub of Indore. Startup founders, entrepreneurs, investors and government officials will come together to discuss the state of the ecosystem in Tier 2 cities through dedicated sessions, keynotes, a panel discussion.
The highlight of the event is the BIGShift Pitch, a platform for startups to showcase their business proposition as well as products or services in front of the stalwarts from the startup community from each location. Any early-stage startup based in any of the BIGShift host cities can apply to showcase their business proposition at the event.

Inc42 Mixer

Inc42 Founders’ Meetup
After engaging over 30 startup founders in the last edition, Inc42 is all set to bring you the tenth edition of the Founders Meetup event this month. As usual, the Founders Meetup is the place to engage with over 50 startup founders, entrepreneurs and investors for an evening of networking, sharing knowledge, discussing challenges, and interacting with peers.
Past editions of the Founders Meetup had hosted guest speakers such as Chaayos founder Nitin Saluja, Dineout cofounders Ankit Mehrotra, and Sahil Jain,Ibibo and INDwealth founder Ashish Kashyap, and POSist cofounder Ashish Tulsian among others.

AWS Public Sector Summit Delhi 2019
Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL) is organising the AWS Public Sector Summit – New Delhi on September 5 and 6.
