A Curated Lowdown Of Startup Events [19-25 Feb 2018]
We bring to you the latest edition of the startup events to attend this week!
Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the Indian states are becoming a frontrunner in creating startup-friendly infrastructure. The year 2017 witnessed a number of such initiatives taken by the states to bolster the startup funding scenario as well as ease of the startup path for the budding entrepreneurs.
Needless to say, time and over we have seen that confluence and synergy is the key to creating more and developing more.
This year, the wave of the synergy seems to be moving towards communicating the singularity of entrepreneurship and inculcating the same to different regions and people. This year, as the trend speculates, women entrepreneurship will take primacy as much as entrepreneurship itself.
As a result, various conferences, seminars and meetups are lined up to optimise on that singularity so that many more sections of the industry and potential entrepreneurs may emerge gaining their key takeaways.
Here are some of the startup events curated by Inc42 team that you can look forward to attending this week!

Retail Leadership Summit
As many as 40% businesses may not exist in a meaningful way in the next 10 years if organisations fail to make customer centricity a part of their DNA according to Cisco CEO John Chambers.
Achieving such a goal requires a deep commitment that goes beyond adopting the technology, restructuring processes and designating chief customer care officers. It demands redefining core values to ensure that every process, every discussion and every decision in the organisation ultimately benefits the customer. The key to survival today is in continuously giving value to customers.
It’s a big task with an even bigger payoff. Experts predict that only consumer-centric retail organisations will enjoy strong valuations in the market as well as the hearts and minds of the customers.
