Here is Inc42’s latest edition of startup events coming up this week.
But before we dive into what’s in store for this week, let’s catch up on the success stories of the past week.
The Retail Technology Conclave (ReTechCon) 2018 saw the release of several products and a report by RAI and ValueFirst entitled ‘Eyeing Consumer Intelligence in Retail’, which helps in understanding the state of e-retail in the Indian marketing context.
The audience was treated to many more insights on cutting-edge technologies such as the Internet of Things, bots and artificial intelligence, and relevant topics such as Customer Engagement in a Digital-first World, the transformation of a point of sale into point of experience, and winning the Gen Z.
While the past week was a bit slow on the events front, this week, there are several events lined up for you. It’s time to mark your calendars.
Inc42 Open Office Hours
In the journey of Inc42, it has been a great privilege to have worked with countless entrepreneurs, investors, and storymakers who not only contributed to building the Indian startup ecosystem but also enabled and inspired others to take the road less taken.
However, there have also been times when we have not been able to work with many other storymakers due to many reasons. To this extent, Inc42 has decided that we will have Open Office Hours one Saturday a month to enable anyone and everyone who hasn’t been able to get in touch with us to come and meet our team members.
Therefore, after our first successful open office day in May, we are back with the second edition of Open Office Hours at Inc42. Shortlisted applicants will be intimated about the meetings. Inc42 reserves the rights to accept or deny any meeting requests.

Electric Vehicle India Summit 2018
The Electric Vehicle India Summit 2018, being supported by NITI Aayog, aims to share knowledge on India’s EV Vision 2030 and its strategies and identify potential state-wise EV Projects across India.
At the same time, it aims to enable participants to learn from international experts about the significant milestones achieved and the ROI components in the EV industry. The summit wants to foster an understanding of the latest and future technologies for successful EV adoption in India. It will also enable interactions with industry experts for answers to the pressing challenges facing the industry.

Zinnov Confluence 2018

Indian International MSME Startup Expo 2018
The International Expo/Trade Fair 2018 provides a much-needed unified global platform to traders, industries, MSMEs, startups, and budding entrepreneurs to exhibit their products and services. It also gives them the opportunity to network and find new business opportunities, ideas, markets, buyers, sellers, raw materials, technology transfer, joint ventures, and investments. They can also share knowledge about new promotional schemes, policies, and legislations of the central and state governments and have B2G, B2B, and B2C meets.

EDUTECH EXPO 2018
The EduTech Show and Championship on Robotics and Automation — TechnoXian 2018 — is back in its 4th annual edition and is expected to be attended by over 60K visitors from key colleges, schools, IT companies, banks, government departments, training institutes, and more from the education industry, together with leading organisations.
TechnoXian2018 also organises the International Robotics League (IRL) and the World Robotics Championship (WRC), which will see nearly 35K young participants who stand to win up to $17K in award money. The programme will witness tech summits and automation conferences by industry experts and training and workshops on the most advanced technologies.
