This is Inc42’s latest edition of what startup events are coming up in this week.
The Startup India push is continuously gaining momentum. The latest to join the push is the Goa government that has recently launched its startup policy and portal on Goa startup Day.
The policy was launched by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu and it envisions making Goa one of the most preferred startup destinations of India and featuring in the top 25 startup destinations in Asia by 2025.
The policy contains various incentives for startups and to avail the benefits of these incentives, the startup policy includes various schemes by the government.
With Goa amongst many states now taking the lead to encourage more entrepreneurs, India is sure to experience a startup boom soon wherein it will be leading the ecosystem in the world.
Keeping up with our consistent efforts, to bridge the gap between Indian startup ecosystem and policy makers along with industry stalwarts, here are the two startup events that you can look forward to for participation this week!
Healthcare 2022
The DICE HealthTech, Orange Health Digital and HealthStart Accelerator are hosting the Healthcare 2022 – Transformative trends in Technology, Innovation and Policy. This conference will emphasise and showcase the innovations and opinions of change-makers in the Health and Pharmaceutical industry through panel discussions and speaker series.
Being a collaborative event focussing on peer to peer learning, industry networking and conversations, the event will discuss India’s healthcare growth story in the coming decade with intelligence on the Future of Healthcare in India, Make in India for Med-tech devices and other developmental trends.

DLAI Fintech Conference
DLAI Fintech Conference is coming up with its second installment in Mumbai. The conference will bring together key stakeholders within India’s emerging fintech ecosystem to exchange knowledge and experience pertaining to the field of fintech. Through this event, DLAI aims to provide think tanks, bankers, fintech companies, venture capitalists, government representatives, media professionals, and start-up enthusiasts with a platform to share their vision of fintech in India and to find mutual synergies to drive its future growth.
Based on the theme of Driving India’s Fintech Agenda, the 2018 event will be attended by over 300 participants from across the country, including several prominent dignitaries. Three panel discussions will be held during the day-long conference, covering topics like Equity Financing – Next Waves in Alternate Lending; Banks, Capital Market, Family Offices – Debt Capital for Alternate Lenders; and Data Privacy. In addition, the conference will host numerous keynote sessions and two workshop sessions on Blockchain Technology, as well as UPI 2.0 and e-mandate.
