Indian startup ecosystem has just found the product market fit and is in a burgeoning phase of growth. After securing the #3 spot in the world based on the number of startups operating in the country, jumping 30 spots on the Ease of Doing Business Ranking and with the relentless support from the Prime Minister himself, India is going to thrive like never before and startups will play an invaluable role in it. Inc42 has been fortunate enough to be an integral part of it and we will continue to do our best for the growth of this ecosystem.

As our startup ecosystem matures, more of our younger population is embracing advance technologies and hatching new companies in their backyards. But as they continue to grow, they still need the right mentoring, connections, funds, team members, and a hundred other crucial elements to build a successful startup.

Traditionally, events & conferences (both formal & informal) have served a massive role in connecting the fragmented startup ecosystem in the country of 1.3 billion people and they continue to be valuable even today. So far, there is a dearth of a single source where the updated information about these events can be found which makes it hard to keep a track of multiple events occurring in different cities and then managing your schedule to attend them.

Owing to these problems and upon numerous requests from our regular readers, today we’re taking another step towards our vision of connecting all the stakeholders of our startup ecosystem by introducing a fresh ‘Events To Attend This Week’ weekly series where every Monday we’ll publish a list of the most thrilling and valuable events to attend, manually curated by the editorial team.

This curated list of events to attend for the week will contain all the required details to help our readers manage events’ schedule in a hassle free manner. We are already running four weekly series collating the weekly updates, such as Funding Galore, News Roundup, Movers & Shakers and Cryptocurrency weekly updates – which are widely read and shared.

BIGShift Ahmedabad

BIGShift by Inc42 is a series of events spread across 8 Tier I & Tier II cities of India, organised with Amazon Internet Services. Having hosted BIGShift in four Indian cities, Inc42 is now hosting BIGShift in Ahmedabad.
