Last week, Inc42 successfully hosted a webinar with Harsh Agrawal, CEO of ShoutMeLoud, a Delhi-based platform for online bloggers, for gaining better understanding of the pros and cons of freelancing. During the webinar, Agrawal shared his experience and journey on how he became inspired to work towards making a presence for himself in the freelancing space.
We also came to know a lot about how one can get themselves into freelancing and how to overcome some of the challenges associated with freelancing.
Further, we also gained insight on how digital payments company PayPal India, is supporting Indian freelancers from Narsi Subramaniam who serves as the director of growth at PayPal.
Additionally, the IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE), a non-profit organisation, had successfully hosted TiECON Kolkata. The event which revolved around the theme :‘The Tipping Point – Accelerating the Growth of Entrepreneurship in East India’ The event aims to provide a platform for participants to network, share and learn from each other.
Various sessions on topics such as information technology and consumer internet, healthcare and biotech, retail and FMCG, real estate among others were held at the event to gain a better understanding of the sectors.
