Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC), a subsidiary of European financial services group Societe Generale (SG), has launched Catalyst – a startup accelerator program for Indian startups.
The accelerator program is in partnership with Nasscom, SG GSC has created a platform to promote collaboration and innovation for entrepreneurs. The key focus areas will be artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data.
SG GSC CEO Veronique Sani, said, “In line with digital transformation strategy of Societe Generale, the Catalyst programme aims to co-create solutions to meet customer needs by collaborating with these disruptive technology startups.”
SG GSC commenced its services in India with the Information Technology (IT) business line in 2000. It has now evolved into a global knowledge centre for the group, providing innovative solutions that combines in-depth business knowledge with technology skills.
Societe Generale said that it will explore and identify opportunities to forge new partnerships with fintech startups with good potential.
Eight startups have been selected to work with SG GSC for a period of ten weeks. They are:
Agora Analytics: Established in 2013, Agora Analytics is into the business of helping enterprises save precious dollars by custom building solutions that can learn from its human users how to complete routine tasks involving extraction, comprehension and contextualization of vast amount of unstructured data. It’s based on our artificial intelligence and predictive analytics based platform, that allows set of work-activities to be completely automated, so that the user can focus on higher-level tasks.
Datum Informatics: Datum Informatics is a group company of Elgiva Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd, founded in 2003. Datum Informatics is a BigData and Advanced Analytics Innovation company, aiming to help organisations to derive insights to take informed decisions to make the organisations Future ready.
FixNix: US-headquarted and Chennai-based FixNix Inc. is a software as a Service (SaaS)-based governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platform for enterprises.
GAVS Technologies: GAVS Technologies (GAVS) is a global IT services & solutions provider for customers across multiple industry verticals. GAVS offers services and solutions aligned with strategic technology trends to enable enterprises to take advantage of futuristic technologies like Cloud, IoT, Managed Infrastructure Services, and Security services.
Arya.ai: Arya.ai is a developer platform for Artificial Intelligence with Deep Learning modules covering text, computer vision and reasoning.
Stride.AI: It enables business to perform high resolution text analytics, unraveling themes, trends, and emerging issues, thereby translating your textual data into actionable insights.
Tookitaki Technologies: Tookitaki is building an intelligent decision support system (DSS) to help businesses take smarter decisions. Built on an effective AI system, DSS intends to transform the way organisations do predictive modelling. Most businesses globally use consultants, build ad hoc predictive models on sample data and take decisions. The current process offers neither efficiency nor scale – rather becomes obsolete in the world of big data.
Uniphore Software Systems: Uniphore’s solutions extend the power of speech to revolutionise human-machine interaction. They allow any software application to understand and respond to natural human speech, thus enabling humans to use the most natural of communication modes, speech, to engage and instruct machines; and Lithasa Technologies (InvenZone).
