Uber has priced its service with base fare of Rs 100, with Rs 17 per kilometre and Rs 2 per minute. Just like other Indian cities, there will be a minimum fare of Rs 200. Initially the fleet in Mumbai will have Toyota Corolla Altis, Honda Accord, Toyota Innova and Mercedes Benz E-Class.
As a launch offer, Uber is running promotion in the state where it will be offering 2 free rides to users of up to Rs.500, use promo code ‘UberMumbaiLaunch’ to use the offer which is valid until 31st March, 2014).
