This is a critical moment for the tech industry as the global attention has turned towards the role technology is playing in shaping the future and directing today’s world towards that future. Returning again to celebrate this revolution is RISE, the tech conference featuring the tech world’s CXOs, startup founders, investors, social media influencers and tech personalities. Produced by the team behind tech conferences such as Web Summit and Collision, will feature multiple stages over the course of three discourse-filled days with talks from leading experts in data science, AI, finance, autotech, and more.

With the rise of AI, automation, robotics, Big Data and high-speed connectivity through 5G, the world is on the cusp of the next big technological revolution. This revolution involves the biggest tech companies in the world, as well as startups, investors, the media, and the individuals who will usher in this new era.

RISE will delve into these issues and more from July 8-11 in Hong Kong. This year RISE will host over 350 speakers, 16K+ attendees from over 100 countries, with 71% of them coming from senior management positions. RISE is being held in one of the most innovative cities in Asia, but this is a global tech forum with media organisations from around the world.

What To Expect At Rise Tech Conference

India will be represented by some of the most innovative startups from the ecosystem.  The key speakers this year include Divya Gokulnath, cofounder of BYJU’S; PolicyBazaar’s Alok Bansal, Tarun Mehta of Ather Energy, Thiru Nagarajan, cofounder of Ninjacart, Vogo founder Anand Ayyadurai,  Tony Fernandes, CEO of AirAsia; Bowen Zhou, president of JD AI, among others. Other Indian entrepreneurs that are set to feature at RISE 2019 include UrbanClap cofounder Raghav Chandra, Livspace founder Anuj Srivastava, Ajit Narayanan, cofounder mfine and Inc42 cofounder and CEO Vaibhav Vardhan. In addition, global tech companies such as Spotify, Uber, GOJEK and more will also be present at RISE this year.

The RISE 2019 itinerary ranges from discussions around mobile marketing trends and talks centred on the major tech companies in the world such as Uber and Horizon Robotics. Attendees can also panel discussions around women entrepreneurs, technical talks around AI, ML, autonomous cars, data science and tech architectures.

Some of the more riveting discussions are set to be around the technology that affects everyday lives and makes a social impact. Talks such as serving the unbanked population of the world through fintech and investing in emerging markets are likely to reveal some very exciting trends and insights from the tech and startups that matter.

One of the key focus areas at RISE this year is women in tech and startups. In 2018, 38% of all attendees were female, and this year too, RISE promises a platform for women technologists, product managers and CXOs.

Perks for RISE attendees include 20% off ONE Championship sports apparel, $25 bonus for eToro, a $50 credit for new DigitalOcean customers and more. Attendees can also choose to unwind and connect in an informal manner with the people who matter at the Night Summit events. Night Summit takes attendees through Hong Kong’s little known nightlife gems every night for networking, tech parties, and just a way to unwind with engineers, investors, product owners and influencers that are changing the landscape of business and technology.

RISE is centred around the role tech is playing in shaping the future with AI/ML, fintech, robotics, IoT and automation becoming a part of the daily lives of billions of people.
