Post 56-day sabbatical, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is all set hold the neck of ruling BJP government on every ongoing issue and esp. NetNeutrality. It seems that this time he is back with extra talktime plan and long lasting battery and will not leave any stone unturned to attack BJP.
From last few days, his absence was a big deal for major news channels and print media. Prime time shows of nearly all news channels were debating over Rahul Gandhi’s absence and moreover BJP ministers were also mocking for the same. Jokes apart, do you people really think it is possible for a person with SPG (Special Protection Group) security cover to leave a country without informing Home Ministry? This states that BJP was well aware of his vacations plans.
Nevermind, now when he is back with extra recharge, he is talking about Land Bill and Net Neutrality (Yes Rahul Gandhi is defending Internet Freedom).
Taking a dig at the BJP government, Rahul started his speech by praising the Prime Minister and once again accused the government of being pro-corporate.
“Net Neutrality is an important issue. It means everyone should have Net Ka Adhikaar. Everybody on social media is talking about net neutrality, but this government wants to sell the Internet to corporates. We want that consultation with TRAI be stopped, and there should be a law on net neutrality. I would request the government to stop TRAI’s decision,” said Rahul.
Though for many of us, its too late to act as the deadline for comments on the TRAI consultation paper on net neutrality is almost on our head. But it’s never too late for Rahul. We all should be thankful to him at least he is speaking up 🙂
Let’s find out what people have to say about #RGForNetNeutrality
