Peak XV-Backed PayGlocal Receives RBI Nod To Operate As Online Merchant Payments Firm

As per ET’s report, PayGlocal, being an international payments-focused startup, has also applied for a cross-border payments licence

The payments startup received in-principle approval from the RBI for a payment aggregator (PA) licence in November last year

Joining the crew of fintech operators who have obtained the payments licence in the country, Bengaluru-based cross-border payments startup PayGlocal has reportedly received the online payment aggregator licence approved by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

As per ET’s report, PayGlocal, being an international payments-focused startup, has also applied for a cross-border payments licence, which is still being processed by the central bank.
