Technology-led recruitment startups appear to be the next big destination for investors and VCs to pour their money in. With number of startups in the hiring space raising funds, TalentPad is yet another firm working in the same space that has raised a funding round led by Mauritius-based Helion Advisors.

Ritesh Banglani, partner at Helion Ventures will join the board of the company. However, the financial terms has been left undisclosed as of now.

The startup plans to use the funds raised to accelerate its marketing initiatives and strengthen its management team.

“There is a huge demand-supply gap in the recruitment segment, especially at the higher end of technology driven businesses, and TalentPad is ideally poised to meet the emerging opportunity… Helion was impressed by the founding team’s intellectual pedigree and a strong combination of business, technology and sales expertise,” said Ritesh Banglani.

This is how it works:

TalentPad was founded by Mayank Jain, Nikhil Vij and Raghav Jain, alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) earlier this year. It currently works with over 150 companies spread across sectors like ecommerce, online media, mobile, enterprise SaaS (software-as-a-service) and online education. A few of its clients include InMobi, MakeMyTrip, Snapdeal, Myntra and BookMyShow.
