Metaverse and gaming tech startup OneVerse Gaming has announced its strategic partnership with online poker platform Poker Dangal to expand its gaming portfolio.

Under this integration, OneVerse players will have access to PokerDangal’s gaming, according to a statement.

“Players across the OneVerse gaming platform will now have seamless access to top-tier gaming experiences from brands like Poker Dangal,” the statement said, adding that the partnership brings multiple skill-based and fantasy gaming options under one ecosystem.

The move is aimed at expanding OneVerse’s gaming portfolio and to further strengthen its position in the gaming industry.

This comes amid OneVerse’s acquisitions spree, especially the poker segment last year.

In April last year, OneVerse Gaming bought online poker platform PokerSaint in its fourth acquisition in the gaming space.

Prior to that, it bought online poker platform Calling Station and fantasy sports platform BatBall11 to strengthen its foothold in the gaming space.

At that time, OneVerse’s CEO E. Paul Micheal told Inc42 that the company is planning to make around seven to eight more acquisitions in gaming.

The US-based company offers a Metaverse platform that delivers interactive experiences for gamers worldwide.

The development coincided with India’s gaming industry associations joining hands to promote safe and responsible real money online gaming in the country.

The All India Gaming Federation (AIGF), the Federation of Indian Fantasy Sports (FIFS) and the E-Gaming Federation (EGF) joined hands today (March 10) to enforce ‘Code of Ethics’ (CoE) to ensure responsible gaming and safety standards across the industry.
