Ola Electric Shares Plunge Over 3% After Q3 Results

The company’s operating revenue also declined 19% to INR 1,045 Cr during the quarter under review from INR 1,296 Cr in Q3 FY24

Shares of Bhavish Aggarwal-led electric vehicle maker Ola Electric dropped over 3% to INR 69.69 on the BSE after the company reported a 50% increase in its net loss to INR 564 Cr in Q3 FY25 from INR 376 Cr in the year-ago quarter.

On a quarter-on-quarter basis, net loss surged 14% from INR 495 Cr.

At the current market price, Ola Electric’s market capitalisation stood at INR 30,611 Cr. 

The company’s operating revenue also declined 19% to INR 1,045 Cr during the quarter under review from INR 1,296 Cr in Q3 FY24. Sequentially, it fell 14% from INR 1,214 Cr.

The company has given negative returns in both long and short term. In the past one year, the stock has given a negative return of around 24% and in the last five days of almost 9%. 

The stock has ended in the red in four out of the last seven trading sessions.

The company recently reclaimed the top slot in India’s electric two-wheeler (E2W) market in terms of sales recorded in January 2025.

Further, Ola Electric officially launched the production-ready Roadster X on Wednesday (February 5), with a starting price of INR 74,999 (ex-showroom) five months after unveiling its first EV bike

Last month, the electric mobility company unveiled 8 new escooters across mass and premium segments, built on the advanced Gen 3 platform, claiming it will give a 20% boost to peak power, reduce costs by 11%, and increase range by 20%.

It is pertinent to note that Ola Electric is being probed by the consumer protection body over allegations of delays in providing service and deliveries, defective vehicle sales, and other customer complaints.
