Myntra Expands Quick Delivery Service M-Now To Delhi NCR & Mumbai

Fashion ecommerce platform Myntra has expanded its quick delivery service M-Now to Delhi NCR and Mumbai, months after its debut in Bengaluru.

Last November, Myntra kicked off piloting its two-hour delivery service M-Now in select areas of Bengaluru.

This expansion is being supported by an expanded network of over 40 dark stores across these three cities – Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, and Mumbai –- each equipped to store about 25,000 products, the company said in a statement.

Currently, under the M-Now feature on the Myntra’s app, the company will deliver products from brands like Levi’s, USPA, MANGO, Jack & Jones, Tommy Hilfiger, Vero Moda, YSL, Bobbi Brown, Dyson, Estee Lauder, Prada, L’Oréal, and Maybelline.

In the last quarter, the startup also added Marks & Spencer, Snitch, Pantaloons, Decathlon, and YSL, to the list of brands that would be available in the quick delivery feature.

Product categories such as t-shirts, dresses, jeans, kurta sets, lipstick & perfumes, among others would be available under the feature on Myntra.

“The expansion of M-Now to Mumbai and Delhi is a natural progression of our commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences, especially for those moments where immediacy matters most, as we continue to delight customers with unparalleled speed in e-lifestyle,” Sharon Pais, chief business officer of Myntra said.

The development comes at a time when the quick commerce segment has been the talk of the town, and most businesses across sectors have been experimenting in delivering their services at challenging timelines to gain wider consumer attention, while also retaining their market share.

Ecommerce players such as Myntra and Nykaa, initially set out to deliver their fashion, cosmetics and lifestyle products under a 4-hour window at pilot stages in late last year, during which, new entrants such as Slikk and NEWME have increased the competition in the quick fashion industry.

NEWME entered the quick commerce space, after running pilots in Bengaluru and Delhi recently. Meanwhile, Slikk raised $10 Mn (INR 85.12 Cr) to foray into new lifestyle categories, launch “instant returns” and expand into more urban pin codes. 

On the financial front, Myntra turned profitable in the fiscal year 2023-24 (FY24), posting a consolidated net profit of INR 30.9 Cr as against a loss of INR 782.4 Cr in the previous fiscal year.

The startup’s revenue from operations stood at INR 5,121.8 Cr in FY24, up about 15% from INR 4,465 Cr, a year ago.
