Shuttl roped in former Snapdeal director Amit Kumar Gupta as Head of Engineering. Amit will be responsible in building technology team. Amit has an over a decade experience working in companies like Verisign, Oracle and TCS.

Paytm Appoints Vikas Purohit As VP For Payments Bank Business

Paytm has appointed Vikas Purohit as vice president for its upcoming payments bank business. Prior to this, Purohit worked with Amazon as the director of fashion vertical. He is an IIT-BHU and IIM-Bangalore alumnus and has also worked with Tommy Hilfiger and Reliance Brands in the past.

Uniphore Makes Senior Level Appointments

Uniphore Software Systems appointed Samith Ramachandran as vice president and head of professional services. Ramachandran has nearly two decades of experience in software product engineering and service delivery. He is an engineer from University of Kerala and has previously worked with Siemens (NSN), Subex and Flytxt. Samith will be responsible for building the professional services organisation and services portfolio, with a focus on rapid deployment, sustained operations and business growth.

Uniphore appointed M Thamarai Selvi as director of marketing and communications. Selvi is an IIM Calcutta alumnus and has worked with BPCL, Asian Paints, IBM and Wipro prior to her appointment at Uniphore. Selvi will oversee all aspects of Marketing and Communication across the globe.

Times Internet Appoints Gulshan Verma As Chief Revenue Officer

Times Internet Ltd (TIL) appointed Gulshan Verma, former executive of online content discovery platform Outbrain, as its new chief revenue officer (CRO). In his new role, Verma will be responsible for setting up strategies, direction and management of Times Internet’s revenue opportunities. Verma has earlier served as the CRO of digital marketing platform Komli Media, besides working with several companies including Yahoo!, EY, McKinsey and Associated Press.

Dentsu Communications Ropes In Vishal Nicholas

Dentsu Communications roped in Vishal Nicholas as Senior Vice-President – Head of Planning. As part of his new mandate, Nicholas will report to Simi Sabhaney, CEO, Dentsu Communications and will be responsible for the planning output across all the offices of Dentsu Communications. Prior to this, Nicholas was Vice-President – Planning at Lowe Lintas, Bangalore. He has worked across categories for clients like Flipkart, TVS Motors, Myntra, Tata Tea, Hike Messenger, Britannia & ITC Foods.

Zenify.in Announces Senior Level Appointments

Mohit Agarwal joined as the Head of Technology at Zenify. He is a technology leader with more than seven years of experience in building products across various industry domains like ecommerce, real estate, cloud computing and enterprise products. Prior to this, he was working as Associate Product Manager at Flipkart. He was also the head of the Web department in ‘The Entrepreneurship Cell in IIT Bombay.

Rashi Lachhwani was appointed as Head of Operations at Zenify. She came from Syncspace where she was the interim COO for one year. Rashi has also co-founded research driven education management company TRUSANGA Educational Services.

Besides, Nitin Gautam joined as Head of Data Science and Manish Mahendra joined as AGM Marketing.
