AI startup MeshDefend has raised $2.3 Mn (INR 20.4 Cr) in its pre-seed round led by Kalaari Capital. The round also saw participation from Kettleborough VC and undisclosed angel investors

Founded earlier this year by ex-Dell Technologies’ senior executives Tejas Pandit and Ravi Chitloor, MeshDefendis building an AI-native operating system for enterprise data infrastructure. The startup’s platform, Agent Mesh, enables large enterprises to manage complex, hybrid cloud environments using AI agents that can monitor and optimise data operations in real time.

The startup positions itself in the intersection of AI, operation and data infrastructure, offering enterprises a way to move beyond manual and siloed operations to more integrated, agentic and autonomous models.
