Meet The Five Indian Startups Selected For Maruti Suzuki’s Accelerator

Maruti Suzuki has selected five Indian startups for the ninth cohort of its flagship accelerator programme.

The startups, picked up for the accelerator programme includes, Frinks AI, mistEO, Adagrad, Com Olho and Eligere, which will now run a proof-of-concept (PoC) with Maruti Suzuki to test their solutions in real-world settings. 

This is also for the first time that the programme included global startups. 

A total of 26 startups pitched at the finale, with nine selected overall, including three from Germany. 

The selected Indian startups are building solutions across AI, EV infrastructure, cybersecurity and quality control. Maruti Suzuki says these solutions could help improve its manufacturing and customer service operations.

Here is the list of Indian startups selected for the ninth cohort of Maruti Suzuki’s accelerator:

 Frinks AI

  • Founded: 2020

  • Founders: Dharmgya Sharma, Aditya Agrwal and Subhra Bhattacherjee

  • Headquarters: Bengaluru

Frinks AI builds computer vision solutions aimed at automating quality checks and safety monitoring in manufacturing plants. Using AI-powered video analytics, the startup helps factories detect defects on production lines, ensure worker safety compliance, and reduce manual inspection efforts. Its tools can integrate with existing CCTV setups, making deployment easier for large-scale operations.

mistEO

  • Founded: 2019

  • Founders: Samuel John, Ditto Sheela Pankajakshan, and Nick Kumaran

  • Headquarters: Thiruvananthapuram

mistEO uses satellite data and artificial intelligence to build climate intelligence platforms. The startup focuses on helping companies, especially in energy and infrastructure, anticipate weather-related risks and plan operations accordingly. For automotive and mobility players like Maruti Suzuki, their tech can be used for route planning, logistics optimisation, and managing the effects of climate on supply chains.

Adagrad

  • Founded: 2018

  • Founders: Sangram Jadhav, Mayur Kulkarni and Niranjan Patil

  • Headquarters: Pune

Adagrad is an AI startup building scalable artificial intelligence solutions for businesses, with a focus on computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning. Its systems power real-time applications like human detection in retail, facial recognition, and number plate recognition for traffic and parking. 

The company also develops conversational AI tools and self-learning models to automate workflows and extract insights. With over 1,100 global deployments, Adagrad serves industries from retail to transportation. 

Com Olho

  • Founded: 2019

  • Founders: Abhinav Bangia and Anurag Tripathi

  • Headquarters: Gurugram

Com Olho builds AI-based cybersecurity and ad fraud detection tools. It helps companies secure their digital operations by identifying bot activity, malware threats, and suspicious behaviour in real time. 

The company claims its solution can reduce digital fraud and improve transparency across enterprise systems — a growing concern for companies with large online and connected infrastructure.

Eligere

  • Founded: 2021

  • Founders: Rantej Singh

  • Headquarters: Delhi

Eligere provides AI-powered digital identity and compliance verification solutions. Their tech is used in both enterprise and public sector settings for onboarding, background checks, and access control. For mobility companies, it can help streamline identity verification for users, partners, or employees, while ensuring compliance with evolving data and security regulations.
