While funding and investments always seem to be the favourite themes of every startup event, very few people in the ecosystem talk about exits. Successful exits are a burning need for VCs and angels investors, apart from being a sure sign of a maturing ecosystem. It is with this intention in mind that the third edition of LetsVenture’s flagship event LetsIgnite aims to focus on this very important theme – ‘Building an ecosystem that is conducive for Exits.’

LetsIgnite 2017, which will take place in Bengaluru next week (March 16-17, 2017) will not only focus on the latest trends of the investment ecosystem, but also focus on structuring connects and conversations on  ‘what ’ and ‘how’ to truly influence the way forward.

Over 300+ investors, VCs and Corporates will have a chance to discuss in-depth exit strategies with top thinkers and influencers of the startup ecosystem from the across the US, UAE, Israel, Singapore, India. Attendees will have access to select data points and infographics on key micro and macro trends impacting investing patterns in the Indian startup arena, and meet 15 cutting-edge startups (selected from over 1,500 applications) from fintech, IoT, Blockchain, and machine learning that have gone through a rigorous five-step curation process.

Panels such as ‘Investing for Growth vs Investing for Exits’ and ‘How VCs give Angels Exits’ are some of the discussions which will touch upon the subject of startup exits.

The second focus of the conference will be on “India 2.” Panel discussions around this theme will focus on how to target the next 400 Mn people who are not exactly living in cities, have lower incomes, and are still feeling their way with technology. With speakers such as Sanjay Jain from EkStep and Sharad Sharma from iSpirit, the panels will try to address the issue of making digital and tech products for this India.  Panel discussions such as ‘The Untapped Potential of ‘ Bharat’’ and ‘Close door roundtable on India 2’ will focus on this theme.

LetsIgnite was started by LetsVenture in 2015 for investors to meet like-minded peers and policy makers, interact with pre-screened, cutting edge startups and be a part of a community that will drive the investment fraternity ahead.

LetsVenture, which was founded in 2013 by Shanti Mohan and Sanjay Jha, has, till date, facilitated funding for 92 startups, aggregating to nearly $37.5 Mn. Ratan Tata– and TV Mohandas Pai-backed LetsVenture presently has over 7,500+ connections and over 2,000+ investors on its platform.
