As per a recent report, India stood at a respectable 66th position on the Global Innovation Index survey. Compared to its 81st position last year, we are indeed making slow, yet stable progress towards creating a healthy environment for innovation in India.

In order to explore the unsaid and undiscovered little gems of innovation that are currently happening in India, we have taken it upon ourselves to go on an ‘Innovation Yatra’ from Bengaluru to New Delhi, across 15 Indian cities! We already know that #IndiaCanInnovate – it is but time to tell the world now!
The Plan
We will be starting from Bengaluru and travel from city to city spending not more than one to two days in each city; culminating in New Delhi.
Spend time at various innovation hubs/makerspaces recommended and curated by innovation ambassadors delegated in every city/area.
Interact with the local innovators and know their stories, capture their products/services. Chronicle the journey through video & photos – the experience, the local culture, the stories & the insights.
4500+ km drive across India, marvelling the amazing and diverse beauty of this land, just like DigitalDesh.
Our first ‘Innovation’ journey through India, intended to showcase the grassroots and local flavours of creation and innovation. We believe that innovation is what will drive the real growth in the country.
