The US-based venture capital company, Accel has announced the names of Indian startups that were part of the first cohort of its Atoms programme being launched in October 2021. The venture capital company has shortlisted 14 startups for the 100-day programme of learning and mentorship. 

One of these startups is a stealth startup that is working in the women’s wellness space. The other selected startups represent a diverse range of industries from SaaS to cryptocurrency to D2C to hardware. 

As part of the programme, the startups received $250K in non-dilutive capital, one-on-one mentorship from established entrepreneurs and business leaders, as well as access to the global Accel community. 

“We received applications from a diverse set of companies, and the sheer range was a testament to the imagination, creativity, and acumen of the entrepreneurs. We are experiencing a surge of great entrepreneurs and amazing ideas. As the leading early-stage investor in the ecosystem, we believe that we need to work with and help entrepreneurs even earlier. Atoms was created exactly for this purpose,” said Prayank Swaroop, partner at Accel India. 

Accel has been operating in India since 2008. It aims to partner with exceptional teams everywhere, from inception through all phases of private company growth.

Brew Money Founders: Archisman Das and Mehul Marakana

Founded In: 2021

Brew is a neobank startup which uses decentralised finance to provide users with higher interest rates on their savings.

Bytebeam

Founders: Gautam BT, Ravi Teja K, and Bharadwaaj Ramakrishnan

Founded In: 2019

Bytebeam simplifies cloud infrastructure for smart device manufacturers. It operates an IoT platform that renders solutions such as over the air updates, device to mobile sync, data visualization, and alerting.

Dubdub.ai 

Founders: Anubhav Singh, Rahul Sankhwar, Rahul Garg, and Anchal Jaiswal 

Founded In: 2021

Dubdub.ai helps sales and marketing teams build multilingual video content, leveraging the power of machine learning and artificial intelligence. It aims to make dubbing cheaper, faster, and more reliable while also ensuring that it is shareable and scalable. 

FitBudd 

Founders: Naman Singhal, Pranav Chaturvedi, and Saumya Mittal 

Founded In: 2021

FitBudd helps fitness professionals globally to launch their online business, acquire new clients, and deliver engaging coaching experience ensuring their clients achieve results.

Fragmynt 

Founders: James Branigan and Ojas S 

Founded In: 2021

Fragmynt aims at rebuilding the stock market for the world with the help of web3.

GoSats 

Founders: Mohammed Roshan and Roshni Aslam

Founded In: 2021

GoSats is a Bitcoin stacking platform that rewards Bitcoin on everything users do. It rewards cards to earn Bitcoin on every purchase.

Jify

Founders: Anusha Ramakrishnan and Anisha Aibara 

Founded In:  2021 

Jify is building a financial wellness platform to enable employees to instantly access, save and manage their salary

Kluster 

Founders: Akash Venkat and Aman Singhal

Founded In: 2021

Kluster is a community platform designed specifically for peer-to-peer learning, with gamification, knowledge management and embedded learning tools. It aims to make learning social, productive and fun.

Nymble 

Founders: Raghav Gupta and Rohin Malhotra

Founded: 2017

Nymble is a food-tech startup building a robot chef which can cook curated meals for users at the press of a button, all tailored to individual users’ tastes. 

Onesto Labs 

Founders: Rohit Chawla, Sifat Khurana and Vimal Bhola

Founded:2018

Onesto Labs is a house of brands focused on beauty and personal care. It leans into personalisation and better products for the customer by focusing on clinical trials, scientific research, and user feedback.

Rigi 

Founders: Swapnil Saurav and Ananya Singhal 

Founded: 2021

Rigi helps creators sell short courses and find ways to leverage their own online communities. It also takes care of periodic subscription reminders, retargeting, and promotions.

Spendflo

Founders: Ajay Vardhan, Rajiv Ramanan, and Siddharth Sridharan

Founded: 2020

Spendflo is a SaaS solution startup that helps high growth companies buy, negotiate and renew their SaaS tools, essentially putting their procurement. 

Material Depot 

Founders: Manish Reddy and Sarthak Agrawal

Founded: 2021

Material Depot is building a search engine for architects and designers to discover building materials and trends. It replaces the time consuming task of flipping through lengthy catalogs and calling vendors.
