Now in its fourth edition, Inc42’s FAST42 Ranking will be unveiled on March 19 at an exclusive event in Gurugram, bringing together the sharpest minds in the D2C space.

Now in its fourth edition, the list showcases 42 fastest-growing D2C brands, ranked by revenue performance, recognising those that have scaled successfully, adapted to shifting consumer demands, and overcome market challenges.

FAST42 is more than just a ranking — it is a definitive benchmark that celebrates innovation, resilience, and high-impact growth. 

The launch event will see 100+ D2C founders, investors, and ecosystem enablers convene to celebrate the success of these brands, strategic networking, industry insights, and high-value collaborations.

Fast42 Shortlisting Criteria

A $300 Bn Opportunity & The Brands Shaping It

The D2C sector in India is on an unprecedented growth trajectory, projected to reach $300 Bn by 2030, fueled by rising internet penetration, evolving consumer preferences, and expanding digital infrastructure. 

With over 190 Mn digital shoppers, brands across fashion, beauty, F&B, and consumer electronics are redefining how India shops.

Despite a funding slowdown in 2024, investor interest in scalable, profitable brands remains strong. The sector raised $595 Mn, compared to $1.4 Bn in 2023, underscoring a shift toward sustainable, high-retention growth models. 

The beauty & personal care segment continues to be a breakout category, expected to grow at a 27% CAGR between 2022 and 2030, followed closely by fashion, home & furnishing, and consumer electronics.

As tier 2 and 3 cities emerge as high-potential D2C hubs, brands are expanding beyond metro strongholds like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Meanwhile, public listings of companies like Menhood, Honasa Consumer, and FirstCry signal a sector maturing towards long-term scalability.

Co-presented by Emiza and Simpl, FAST42 isn’t just about recognising growth — it’s about amplifying the impact of India’s most ambitious D2C brands. This year’s edition saw over 250 applications, representing brands that collectively generated $400 Mn in revenue, secured $200 Mn+ in funding, and created 14,000+ jobs nationwide.

The highest participation came from Delhi (16.8%) and Mumbai (16.1%), followed by Bengaluru (11.7%), with Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Indore, Coimbatore, and Kolkata also making a strong presence. Fashion (36.5%) and F&B (20.4%) led the applicant pool, followed by beauty & personal care (14.6%) and home & furnishing (13.1%).
