AI-powered customer engagement platform Exotel’s cofounder and chief operating officer Ishwar Sridharan has quit the company.

“Today marks my last official working day at Exotel. It’s been a little over 14 years, and it’s been the most remarkable and productive professional days of my life. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together-not just a company, but an institution built to last,” Sridharan said in an internal mail to employees.

Inc42 has accessed the mail sent by Sridharan. The development was first reported by Entrackr.

Sridharan cofounded Exotel in 2011, along with Shivakumar Ganesan, Siddharth Ramesh and Vijay Sharma. Prior to that, he worked at companies like Position2, Yahoo and SAP Labs. Overall, he holds an experience of 23 years in various roles.
