India Quotient has announced Taskbob as the winner of its recently launched contest MobileIQ. The startup will receive INR 50 Lakh as the winning amount. Taskbob competed with other 4 finalists i.e. WhichApp, Reach, The Zero Games and Pinchat.
Taskbob creates happy households by providing everyday repairs, temp cooks or drivers etc through its recently launched mobile app around Powai area in Mumbai.
Assem Khare , co-founder of Taskbob said “The event hosted by India Quotient was very good indeed. We spent a lot of time meeting top level investors and other teams who had been shortlisted. Got a whole set of new ideas and perspectives all across the event. In the last couple of weeks, we spent a lot of time with Anand and Madhukar and really appreciate their advice on the business.
He added “Being declared as the winners certainly gives a big boost to the team. From here, we first want to invite the top talent in the country in tech, operations, product management to join us in our vision to become “Uber for home services” for India.
As per Anand Lunia of India Quotient “It was a difficult to choose from the participants at the event and apart from the 5 shortlisted companies, we also believe that in a few months, many others will cross some milestones and become very attractive. Fitho, Mobhe, Shippr, Instano, Viraltrics, Rentsetgo, Pocketad are in that list.”
