Bangalore-based home design and decor startup LivSpace has bagged INR 29 Cr. in Series A round of funding led by Helion Venture Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners and Jungle Ventures.

Founded by former Google and Myntra executives, Anuj Srivastava, Shagufta Anurag and Ramakant Sharma, LivSpace is a platform which allows users to design, decorate and furnish their dream home. It helps the new home buyers to select interior design for their homes through a catalogue and then buy the combined sets which sets it apart from others in the same space including Pepperfry, Urban Ladder and FabFurnish, which focus on selling loose furniture items to home owners. Homelane is yet another playing operating in the same space.

LivSpace plans to use the funds raised for building the product and expanding the team, besides marketing and business development.

The startup has a in-house design team besides selected curated designers. LivSpace also has a designed modularised furniture, which can use 100 SKUs to produce 5,000 products.

Recently, in this space UrbanLadder has raised Series B round of funding and also a funding round from Ratan Tata. Earlier this year, Pepperfry has also raised a funding round.
