Team building and finding the right people for their venture is one of the biggest challenges for the startups today. A right fit in the team can make a lot of difference. Though there are plenty of job portals and HR recruitment firms, still startups cry foul for good candidates.
Find Your Great Work, is one of the prominent startup which is acting in the startup job hiring space. With an aim to connect students (Interns/Full time) with the startups, the company organizes job fairs in different colleges thus giving these startups the chance to shortlist candidates with a quality check filter and on the spot offers.
As not every startup can offer big packages and huge vacancies, they miss the chance of a campus hiring. FYGW comes into this gap, with the job fair all big and small startups have a fair chance to recruit good students. Also, this helps colleges and students to get aware of entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem in the country.
Recently, FYGW conducted a “Startup Jobs Fair” in SRCC, Delhi University, where 15 Startups interacted with 360 talents and hired 40 plus interns. The event was supported and powered by Nasscom 10000 Startups. The other partners in the event were NEN, EDC SRCC, Inc42 Magazine, University Express and Meraevents.
The biggest value proposition for startups was that they got an excellent platform in one of the premier league colleges of India, where they not just narrated their story, inspired these young chaps but also hired the best talents. Startups are the new dream destination for GenY; FYGW has set a course less traversed of bridging the gulf between talents and startups by providing great job and internship opportunities in awesome startups.
Startup founders & core team members like Ankit Mehrotra and Vivek Kapoor from Dineout, Rishabh Gupta from Urthon, Kumar Deepam from Meraevents, Prakhar from Axsiom & Masroor Lodi from Iseed (to name a few) participated and promoted their companies & the startup work culture. Siddharth Sharma, founder of Success Monks and writer of several books on topics like entrepreneurship, swept the floor of everyone’s feet promoting the idea of starting up in his charismatic style.
Amit, founder of ‘FYGW’ conveyed it to the audience largely how important it is for everyone to find their great work because eventually if you love what you do, you’ll always succeed in life.
The startup is all set to roll a series of events in March. Starting with ‘Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies’ on 13th March in collaboration with the college itself; the next startup job fair of the country is in ‘IIT, Delhi’ on 29th March in collaboration with ‘EDC IIT, Delhi’. Both these events are powered by Nasscom 10000 Startups.
