The Billionaire Mindset: Inspiration From The Great Achievers Of The World

The Billionaire Mindset: Inspiration From The Great Achievers Of The World

“Winners never quit, and quitters never win.” – Ted Turner, American Media Mogul

The world is full of people with new ideas who are aggressive risk takers. But still success comes to only few. Because it requires a lot more effort to reach the pinnacle. Our history has witnessed some great visionaries who have risen from ashes. Despite facing rejections several times, with no money at hand and sometimes even no outside encouragement – very common people have accomplished extraordinary things – which not only changed their lives, but also gave a new outlook to the entire universe.

They are not only entrepreneurs or business magnates, but also teachers, singers, actors, and even home makers. The only thing common between them is – they never QUIT. Passion for their work runs through their veins and absolutely nothing can come to block their road to success.

Although, there are many such great leaders on the list, the one we would like to quote here is Jeff Bezos – the face of world’s largest online shopping site, Amazon. The company began as an Internet merchant of books and expanded to a wide variety of products and services, most recently video streaming and audio streaming.

Bezos’s other diversified business interests include aerospace and newspapers. He is the founder and manufacturer of Blue Origin (founded in 2000) with test flights to space beginning in 2015, and plans for commercial suborbital human spaceflight beginning in 2018. In 2013, Bezos purchased The Washington Post newspaper. A number of other business investments are managed through Bezos Expeditions.

Bezos currently ranks as the third richest person in the world (excluding royalty and dictators), with an estimated net worth of $73.3 Bn as of February 17, 2017, just behind fellow Americans, investment mogul Warren Buffett in third, and Bill Gates in first.

To quote him, having passion for your work is the ultimate key to achieve success.

“It’s totally true. The reason being – because it’s so hard that if you don’t, any rational person would give up. It’s really very hard, and you have to do it over a sustained period of time. So if you don’t love it, you don’t have fun doing it, you don’t really love it, you are gonna give up.”

Next up, we could name Kevin Spacey, an American actor, film director, producer, screenwriter, and singer. He began his career as a stage actor during the 1980s before obtaining supporting roles in film and television. He gained his first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the neo-noir crime thriller The Usual Suspects (1995), and later on, an Academy Award for Best Actor for midlife crisis-themed drama American Beauty (1999). He is also known for his character Frank Underwood in the Netflix political drama series House of Cards, for which he also won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama along with two consecutive Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.

As he says,

“ Very often, we watch a lot of young people sort of wander around without any idea about why they are doing what they are doing. I mean – to want to be ambitious, and to want to be successful – is not enough. That’s just desire, to know what you want…To understand why you are doing it, you need to dedicate every breath in your body to achieve it. If you feel you have something to give, if you feel your particular talent is worth development, is worth carrying further, then there’s nothing you can’t achieve.”

As entrepreneurs, you face a lot of rejections and, at the same time, do things others don’t want to do. It is always necessary to do what it takes no matter how hard it is, and try not to hurt anybody along the way.

The video below adds so many more names to this list, from entrepreneurs to politicians to celebrities – Steve Jobs, John Paul Dejoria, Jerry Weintraub, Jerry Jones, T. Harv Eker, Warren Buffett, Gary Vaynerchuck, Robin Sharma, Howard Schultz, Oprah Winfrey, Michael Bloomberg, and David Geffen.

So, watch on, get inspired and…remain inspired!
