Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India, has long stood at the forefront of the nation’s technological revolution, nurturing a vibrant ecosystem with over 250 deeptech startups that employ nearly 10,000 people.

To give a further boost to this ecosystem, the city is all set to host the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) during November 18-20 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).

Ahead of the Summit, the Karnataka government announced a comprehensive INR 600 Cr plan to accelerate innovation in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), quantum computing, robotics, advanced manufacturing, and sustainability-focused technologies.

The state’s minister of electronics, IT and biotechnology Priyank Kharge, said, “These steps are designed to consolidate Karnataka’s position as the deeptech capital of India”.

Spearheaded by the Department of Electronics, IT and Biotechnology, the 28th edition of Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025 aims to solidify Bengaluru’s position as the startup capital of India.

This year’s Summit is themed ‘Futurise’, reflecting its commitment to shaping the next technological decade. Over the course of three days, the event will bring together leaders, startups, and business and research communities from more than 60 countries, promising scale, depth and unmatched networking opportunities.

With over 550 speakers, 15,000 delegates, 1,000+ exhibitors and 50,000+ business visitors, the Summit will spotlight breakthrough technologies and catalyse innovation journeys across sectors such as IT and deeptech, semiconductors, healthtech and biotech, AI, fintech, defence, spacetech, mobility and climate tech.

Beyond the main conference tracks, the event will also feature a multi-pavilion exhibition to spotlight innovators across sectors, Startup Springboard for investor pitching and mentoring. It will also highlight programmes such as the Rural IT Quiz, BioQuiz, Exhibitor Awards.

The Summit’s vast event spectrum also includes a mega exhibition, Future Makers Conclave, India-USA Tech Conclave, B2B meetings and networking, product launches and demos, strategic round tables and more.

At its heart, Bengaluru Tech Summit’s agenda is designed to empower stakeholders – from startups to large corporations – enabling them to discover trends, strategies and solutions that will define the next tech decade.

Spotlighting India’s Deeptech Innovation

Taking centre stage on November 20, the Future Makers Conclave (FMC) is poised to be a landmark convergence for India’s entrepreneurship community. Set amidst the broader BTS, the FMC is specifically crafted as a showcase for India’s most promising AI and deeptech startups.

The format is designed for maximum impact, featuring show-and-tell sessions by emerging technology ventures and keynotes delivered by celebrity speakers, unicorn founders, prominent investors and industry leaders.

The sheer scale of the FMC underscores its significance. The conclave expects to bring together over 10,000 founders, entrepreneurs, investors, mentors and ecosystem leaders for a celebration of innovation and ambition.

Talking about the Conclave, Kharge said, “Future Makers Conclave will be a confluence of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, corporate mentors and future innovators. The participation of global stakeholders will serve as an accelerator for startup ambitions and demonstrate Karnataka’s aggressive pursuit to be at the forefront of deeptech innovation across verticals.”

Beyond the main stages, the exhibition floor will host IT and deeptech titans, SMEs, startups, R&D institutions, universities and government organisations, each presenting their breakthrough products, services, initiatives and programmes. The event will honour exemplary contributions through accolades, including the IT Export Awards, Smart Bio Awards and Startup Ecosystem Awards.

Attendees will also find dedicated spaces for B2B partnering, investor connect sessions and critical mentoring sessions, alongside educational programmes like a biotech poster display curated for young innovators.

Finally, adding a layer of inspiration, the featured speakers at the FMC 2025 will include entrepreneur and content creator Ankur Warikoo, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla (the first Indian astronaut to visit the International Space Station), former tennis player Sania Mirza, Kaivalya Vohra, founder of Zepto, and Indian mentalist and mind reader Suhani Shah.

The Founder Connect

Beyond the bustling conference sessions and the FMC, the BTS 2025 will unfold as an expansive collaborative event, designed to maximise opportunity for founders. The Summit will offer unparalleled avenues for entrepreneurs to learn, network and forge partnerships that can truly elevate their ventures.

The three-day event will create unique platforms to engage directly with industry leaders, investors, mentors, policymakers, media and fellow entrepreneurs.

A key attraction during this collaboration will be the Startup Pavilion, which will host 350 startups, incubators and accelerators from diverse sectors. This dedicated space will provide visibility for emerging ventures in front of thousands of business visitors from India and abroad.

Complementing this will be the Investor Connect Programme, which will facilitate curated, face-to-face interactions aimed at building strategic, lasting relationships among startups, corporates and ecosystem leaders.

The Summit will provide tangible pathways for growth. The pitching arena will serve as a gateway for startups at various growth stages to present their ideas, products and business models to a curated audience, offering visibility, validation and immediate funding prospects.

This will be further bolstered by structured mentoring sessions, which will bring founders into dialogue with seasoned entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and domain experts. These interactive forums are tailored to provide strategic guidance, business model refinement, go-to-market insights and industry connections.

The Summit’s agenda is underscored by a stellar lineup of speakers across every domain. Key industry voices include Abhay Singhal, cofounder of InMobi Group; MeitY additional secretary Abhishek Singh; Anchal Jain, founding partner at Val.more, Dr. V. Narayanan, chairman of ISRO, and Shekhar Kapur, Indian filmmaker.
