In a post on X, Mukesh Bansal denied that he was looking to set up a biohacking venture.
“At MerakiLabs we are pursuing many ideas and prototypes and that’s what makes it fun! Ben Greenfield is an amazing guy, deeply knowledgeable about bio-hacking space and a good friend. We had a great podcast discussion but that doesn’t become an imminent bio-hacking venture!” Bansal said in the post.

Fitness consultant Ben Greenfield is joining hands with serial entrepreneur Mukesh Bansal to build a network of biohacking centres across India.
These centres will offer a range of therapies and consultations focused on popular biohacking practices and age reversal techniques, ET reported.
Bansal is known for his prior ventures including the online fashion giant Myntra and fitness startup Cult.fit.
He is planning to establish up to two centres each in New Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai. He cited the cost-intensive and time-consuming nature of biohacking as reasons for this limitation. However, he is not actively seeking external funding for this endeavour at the moment. It’s more of a passion project that he wants to pursue.
Biohacking is a term people may use to describe do-it-yourself biology. It involves someone making incremental changes to their body, diet, and lifestyle to improve their health and well-being.
Greenfield’s journey into the world of biohacking began with his disillusionment with conventional medical practices.
Greenfield’s early realization of the connection between eating healthy and his physical performance, particularly in running up hills in his backyard, laid the foundation for his interest in health and wellness from a young age.
He has added other practices like red light therapy and cryotherapy chamber sessions into his biohacking practice. A lot of these technologies, Greenfield believes, mimic what nature already offers, but are increasingly difficult to find in a post-industrial era dominated by urban settings.
Now, the aim is to integrate traditional health and wellness practices into his venture in India.
Last year, it was reported that Bansal was reportedly in talks to raise funding for his new venture in the premium fashion space which will be focussed on Gen Z.
Bansal, who is working with former Zomato cofounder Mohit Gupta, is nearing close of $50 Mn Series A round from investors such as Peak XV Partners and Accel, Moneycontrol reported.
